About New Hampshire...
New Hampshire is a state in New England region of the northeastern United States. The state is named after the southern English County of Hampshire. Massachusetts is bordered on the south, west to Vermont, Maine in the east, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north. New Hampshire 44th lines in the country area, 46 the total area of 50 states, and 41st in the population. He became the first post-colonial sovereign nation in America, when he broke off from Great Britain in January 1776, and was one of the original one p.m. countries are established by the United States six months later. This was the ninth state to ratify the Constitution of the United States, which makes the document come into force. New Hampshire was the first U.S. states have their own state constitution, and is the only state with neither a general sales tax or personal income tax, either at national or local level. Unity is the state capital, while Manchester is the largest city in the country.
It is known internationally for the New Hampshire primary, the first primary in the quadrennial U.S. presidential election cycle. His table carrying the state motto "Live Free or Die." The state nickname is "The Granite State", in relation to its geology and its tradition of self-sufficiency. Several other official nicknames exist but are rarely used.
New Hampshire's recreational attractions include skiing and other winter sports, walking and hiking, watching the fall foliage, summer cottages along many lakes, motor sports at the New Hampshire Motor speedway, and Motorcycle Week, a popular motorcycle rally held in Laconia in June.
