About Wyoming...
The State of Wyoming is a state in the western United States. Most of the state is dominated by mountain ranges and rangelands in the Rocky Mountain West, while the easternmost part of the country includes part of a high altitude prairie region known as the high plains. While the tenth largest U.S. state by size, Wyoming is the least populated, with the U.S. Census estimated population of 522,830 in 2007, a 5.9% increase from 2000. Capital and largest city populated Wyoming is Cheyenne. As stated in the determination of the legislation for the area of Wyoming, the state is defined as geoellipsoidal rectangle bounded by lines of latitude and longitude. Wyoming is one of only three states, with Colorado and Utah have the latitudinal and longitudinal, but naturally defined boundaries. In reality, due to errors during the 19th century Wyoming border deviates from the width or length of lines to the half mile in some places, especially in mountainous regions along the 45th parallel. Wyoming is bordered on the north of Montana, to the east and by South Dakota Nebraska, south of Colorado, southwest of Utah, and Idaho to the west. This is the tenth largest state in the United States in total area, containing 97,818 square miles and consists of 23 counties. From the north to the south border of the border is 276 kilometers and from east to west border is 365 miles at its southern end and 342 miles to the north end.
